Rebecca Taylor Fall 2014: Great looks for Zosia Mamet and Rihanna

Layering galore and feminine dresses to die for! Check out Rebecca’s latest collection here.
Rebecca Taylor‘s Fall 2014 debuted on Feb. 8 during New York Fashion Week. While staying true to the designer’s affinity for feminine silhouettes, she veered away from her typical palette of bright colors and girly dresses. Taylor’s designs were primarily muted, pastel colors, with a mix of black and navy, which truly worked flawlessly in her creations. We’re seeing blush pinks and greys everywhere this season so we weren’t surprised that they popped up, yet again. Between the plush textiles, great textures and Doc Martin-esque shoes, she really made cool, wearable clothing.

Rebecca Taylor Fall 2014 Collection:
The collection might look simplistic from afar, but up close, the intricate details were fully visible. Mixing, matching and layers seemed to the be common theme for Taylor’s newest collection, while incorporating crackled leather, luscious knits, and chic trousers on the most recent runway. Layering and blending textures is yet another popular trend this season and Rebecca totally nailed it. Combined, all of the detailing made a lovely, refined statement. The oversized coats were also popular.

Not only were the garments drool-worthy, the hair and makeup totally complimented the collection.. Hairstylist Rolando Beauchamp for Oribe styled the models with wind-blown straight hair, while Mac makeup artist, Sil Bruinshma, created a natural, dewey look with red lips as the focal point.

Celebs Will Love The Latest From Rebecca Taylor:
Zosia Mamet sat front row for the Fall 2014 fashion show at Center 548, and her style completely mirrored the looks the models were rocking. Similar to Zosia’s get-up, the designer craftedchic separates including boxy cocoon coats, an asymmetrical skirt, and mesh tops — mainly all of the looks would look phenomenal on the Girls star! Meanwhile, beloved edgier songstress Rihanna would look killer in Taylor’s menswear-inspired creations.
