News: Xbox One's February system update has been delayed

A major Xbox One system update planned for release today has been delayed, Microsoft has announced. The update now won't hit until later in the week.

Reasons for its delay have not been revealed.

"FYI: The February  XboxOne System Update will ship this week, but not today," tweeted Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb. "The team is working on finalizing. More details when I get them."

The update is the first of two major system updates planned for Xbox One and is expected to introduce a battery indicator, USB keyboard support and manual storage management.

A second update due next month will revamp the system's party and friends functionality.
