A slew of celebrities showed up to the Hudson Hotel in New York on Feb. 7 to see the funky and feminine collection from Charlotte Ronson. Shake It Up star Zendaya and A.N.T. Charlotte Ronson’s Runway Gorgeous Berry Lips
Makeup artist Yadim described the look to HollywoodLife.com: “It’s a cool downtown girl. An ode to romance. Fresh skin for a glowy complexion. I used Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow in Barely Branded as a highlighter on the inner corner on eyes, on the nose, cheekbones, chin and cupids bow.
I used Bit of Berry Lipstick for the cheeks and Red Revival on the lip. I pressed it with my fingers for a wine stained look. It’s not super perfect it’s ok to smear and wear away. It’s a whisper of a lip. There is an ehereal quality romantic but cool downtown girl.
No mascara, no liner it’s easy for girls to do at home.”
Skincare Essentials
To prep the skin, Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels were placed under the eyes while the models were in hair. They used their Arctic Elixir to moisturize and set makeup with their Arctic Face Mist — perfect for the chilly NYC weather!
Dark Burgundy Nails By Kiss
The nails were done by celebrity manicurist Gina Edwards for KISS Products, Inc. She created a black scalloped tip on a dark red imPRESS Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails shade to complement the colors in the collection.
Flirty & Fun Hair
Hair was placed in a low bun and accented with either black or maroon velvet headbands. TRESemme products were used to style. Hair was textured by Batiste Dry Shampoo in cherry.
