Game Of Thrones Season 4: Daenerys Rules In New Trailer

Watch the latest look at the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones!’
All good things come in threes, including Game of Thrones teasers! First came the Season 4 teaser trailer during the Golden Globes, followed by the epic 15-minute preview and now, HBO has delivered a third sneak peek of the upcoming season, premiering April 6.

The new footage gives fans a closer look at the Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) drama to come, even if it carefully avoids revealing exactly what that is. Tyrion’s unwilling bride Sansa (Sophie Turner) also looks pretty distressed, though she is still reeling from the deaths of her mother and brother so that’s understandable.

Arya (Maisie Williams), meanwhile, is more determined than ever to see her enemies brought to justice and by justice, I mean death.

Daenerys Does What Queens Do She Rules
The network teased us, as it often does, with a Vine leading up to the full premiere. This time around, the Vine focused on Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), which is funny, because the Khaleesi is one of the least active characters in the second half of George R.R. Martin‘s A Storm of Swords, upon which Season 4 is based.

But hey, at least it was a very pretty Vine!

Game Of Thrones Extended Preview: Bigger Dragons, Danger In Season 4

Watch HBO’s new 15-minute ‘Game of Thrones’ preview, then weigh in with your thoughts!
When it comes to Game of Thrones, even teasers are epic. Ahead of the show’s fourth season premiere, HBO has released a 15-minute preview of the impending carnage, titled “Ice And Fire: A Foreshadowing,” which features behind-the-scenes interviews and first looks at new scenes. Oh, and it also includes promises like this one: “There are more climactic events in Season 4 than there have ever been before.” Chills!

Tyrion In Trouble
If you thought the Game peaked with the Red Wedding, make no mistake, Season 4 is going to blow your mind in ways you never thought possible. “We top it in many ways,” Peter Dinklage says of Season 3′s infamous triple-death scene.

And speaking of Tyrion, readers of George R.R. Martin‘s original series know full well that this season is going to be his most troublesome yet, as he stands accused of… well, you’ll soon find out.

Cersei (Lena Headey) is obviously going to be leading the charge against her brother, whose only remaining ally appears to be a newly returned and newly shaven Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

When It Reigns, It Snows
Meanwhile, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will reach new, untold levels of emo, as he reflects on how he treated Ygritte (Rose Leslie) and the Night’s Watch. He’ll have Sam back as his moral compass, but this season, Sam looks to be more like Jon’s punching bag.

Westeros’ New Bad Boy
The “Ice And Fire” preview also introduces us to Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal). A long-time enemy of the Lannisters, the prince is described as being “passionate” and “dangerous,” which means he’ll fit in just fine in Westeros.
