Think K-Stew’s got Robert Pattinson on the brain? In a new interview, the ‘Twilight’ actress landed on the topic of love, and seemed to admit that her biggest mistake with Rob was not being able to go with the flow.
Kristen Stewart has had to learn a lot since her May 2013 breakup with Robert Pattinson. And though the actress wouldn’t reveal the current status of their relationship in a new interview with Marie Claire, she did suggest that there are things she would’ve done differently.
Kristen Stewart: ‘You Don’t Control’ Love
K-Stew’s first big admission in the interview is that she’s come to understand that love isn’t something she can just manufacture. “You don’t know who you will fall in love with,” K-Stew tells Marie Claire in their March issue. “You don’t control it.”
These are pretty telling quotes. She’s either revealing that she believes she and Rob are truly fated to be together, or saying that she and Rob are growing apart, and she accepts that there’s just nothing that can be done about it.
Kristen also says that after going on a girls-only trip to New Orleans in June, she came to see that not everything can be planned sometimes you just need to go with the flow. “I mean, at this point, I can’t even tell you if I want to hang out on Saturday,” K-Stew quips, reiterating how fleeting life can be.
Kristen Stewart Angling To Get Robert Pattinson Back?
These are all positive quotes from K-Stew, and signs that she’s growing stronger after being so devastated by her breakup with Rob. But as a source close to the actress told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, a part of Kristen is still trying to “control” her relationship with him.
She’s even devised a new plan: “She’s decided that she needs to start playing hard to get,” the source told us. “She’s hoping that when Rob finds out she’s talking about moving on that he’ll step up to the plate.”

IFC Films Buys Kristen Stewart's Guantanamo Bay Indie Camp X-Ray
After premiering at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival last month, the Guantanamo Bay centric drama Camp X-Ray has been picked up by IFC Films. The company announced the acquisition to the North American rights to the film from debut director Peter Sattler, which should have no problem finding an audience with The Twilight Saga lead Kristen Stewart starring. In the film, Stewart plays a young woman who joins the military to be part of something bigger than herself and her small town roots, but ends up as a rookie guard at the questionable detainee facility Guantanamo Bay, codenamed Camp X-Ray. More below!
The film takes a sappy turn when she strikes up an unusual friendship with one of the detainees played by A Separation star Payman Maadi (or Peyman Moaadi). After seeing the film at Sundance, I was not impressed, and wrote in my review, "While the narrative has noble intentions and attempts to shine a necessary light on a failing system in our military, there are elements of this film that feel like a TV movie from the 90s." The film feels heavy-handed, melodramatic, and not helped by the limited acting abilities of Kristen Stewart. But of course, her fans will still turn out to see it whenever it's released.
