Jenny Packham's Fall 2014 Collection: Effortless 70's Glamour

The designer’s Fall 2014 collection was effortlessly elegant, as she drew inspiration from Bianca Jagger in the ’70's and there’s no denying the fact that the looks were fit for the Duchess!
Jenny Packham is always one of my personal highlights during New York Fashion Week, and her Fall 2014 collection was no exception! Jenny debuted her latest looks on Feb. 10, and the models sauntered down the runway in one breathtaking look after another. Not only does the designer know how to flatter the female form with her silhouettes, but the detailing on the dresses was just exquisite. From the crystal-encrusted knits to the feathered jackets and coats and embellished gowns, everything just oozed sexy elegance and really defined effortless evening wear.

Jenny Packham’s Fall 2014 Collection:
Bianca Jagger and her prominent role in New York society in the 1970′s served as Jenny’s inspiration, and it was conveyed well as models strutted their stuff down the runway with eggshell tuxedo jackets draped across their shoulders. Along with the gorgeous gowns, the jewelry was just as exquisite. While I’ve always been a fan of her statement jewels, this season the pieces were bigger and more eye-catching than ever before and they deserve to be noticed.

The color palate consisted of soft caramel, bluebird blue, and rose pink. The beauty look was just as effortless as the clothing, as models sported soft pink gloss on their lips and rocked slightly undone buns, courtesy of TRESemmé.

My personal favorite pieces were definitely the full-length, feathered coats which evoked ’70's glam to the fullest. Another highlight had to be a long-sleeved, embellished gown with a plunging neckline I can’t wait to see who takes this look off the runway and rocks it on the red carpet!

Jenny’s clothing always is worthy of a red carpet moment, and this season it wasn’t just the gowns that I predict seeing on the stars the separates were just as sensational! Crystal-encrusted cashmere knits paired with beautiful ball gown skirts and wide-legged trousers would be fantastic options for a star looking to step out of the box. Aside from the red carpet, it’s certainly only a matter of time before Jenny’s biggest fan, Kate Middleton, gets her hands on the latest collection. In fact, while the designer was debuting Fall 2014 in NYC, across the pond Kate was wearing a gorgeous Jenny Packham dress to the National Portrait Gallery.

Herve Leger´s Sexy Fall 2014 Collection: Perfect For Blake Lively

From a catsuit that would look hot on Rihanna to a gold, embellished mini perfect for Blake Lively, Herve Leger’s Fall 2014 collection had a little bit of everything.
Few things make you feel sexier than an Herve Leger by Max Azria dress. Flirty, feminine and skin-tight, the clothes at the Fall 2014 show, held at Lincoln Center on Feb. 8, did not disappoint. See the collection in the gallery attached and learn about the exact hair and makeup looks below.

Herve Leger Fall 2014 Sexy Feathers & Leather
Herve Leger’s Fall 2014 collection was a mixture of naughty and nice, of playful and vixen. Sexy bondage-like buckles showed off cut outs perfect for displaying cleavage. Fringe skirts and a feminine silhouette cooled down the skin-tight designs.

Cut outs, peplum, leather and studs the collection had something for everyone.

One sexy cat suit reminded us of something bad gal RiRi would wear, while the softer gold and white minis and dresses would be perfect for blonde bombshell Blake Lively.

The designers describe the collection as an advance in technology: “diffusing the line between fantasy and reality. Nature-inspired textures are digitally transformed into 3-D jacquards and pixelated metal beading. Contrasting bandages and cage-corset belts frame and define the form. Shieded in arctic furs and exotic feathers, she is fearless and confident.”

Hair & Makeup At Herve Cyber & Futuristic
Nails were done with Essie polishes by manicurist Julie Kandalec. She told HollywoodLife.com the nails were “right to the point. A bare nail but not nude and not beige. It’s one coat of the semi sheer Lady Like. Then we added the Good To Go Top Coat. We followed with Matte About You Top Coat to give it a cashmere-like finish. It really matches the color in the clothes. It’s a classic mauve. A little more interesting than a nude. The pinky undertone works on all skin tones.”

Makeup was done by Val Garland with Temptu products.

“The cat eye was futuristic. No mascara, no eyebrows. Just a matte eye and a glossy lip. It’s fresh, modern, forward and aerodynamic.”

Hair was created by Laurent Philippon for Bumble and Bumble.

The sleek ponytail stayed frizz free thanks to Bumble and Bumble’s Does It All Spray. Extensions were used for length and aqua blue or coral extensions were added based on the outfit the model wore. It was cyber inspired and futuristic.”
